Algorithms are in principle, perfect because they would look at all the available possibilities and attempt to balance them for us as individuals. They work very well in many situations. Everyone has different preferences and needs. It’s hard to say what you like at first before you type something into the browser. It has a long term memory that records all the words, websites, products you look at. Imagine that you had a page with a discussion. There is a poll of five different types of music: Pop, Rock, Metal, Rap and Jazz. Now imagine you ask 100 people, what’s their favourite genre.
