Technology of the future
New technologies are becoming more compact and more sophisticated than ever before, with some having the potential to revolutionize the planet. Today, I’ll introduce you to a few technologies that are currently available to everyday consumers. What will the world look like when it expands and improves massively?
Artificial intelligence (AI):
It is linked to personal assistants and, in fact, to all of the topics I shall discuss today. It is believed that in the future, AI will be able to locate itself in its surroundings, sort information, and, based on evaluation, decide for itself. This extremely advanced intelligent behavior will become a normal component of practically every sector. IBM’s Watson supercomputer, for example, is capable of developing analyses and effective solutions from provided data. A little more ambitious use of AI can be found in the form of microchips implanted underneath people’s skin. This might provide the individual with a number of advantages in a variety of areas.
The future of house digitisation:
Our homes are already digitally connected in some way. It all relies on how you approach the new technology and how comfortable you are in it. Smart refrigerators, lights, garbage bins, air conditioners, thermostats, alarms, and a variety of other items may now be linked to Internet networks. As a result, the world will become increasingly digital in the future, and artificial intelligence will significantly help in organizing our lives and daily tasks. When we arrive home, the lights will turn on automatically, the garbage will close when the container is filled, the heating will adjust to the current weather, domestic cleaning will be handled by robots, and we will only focus on important and enjoyable activities. This might be a vision for the future.
Personal assistants:
The world’s largest corporations, including as Amazon, Google, Apple, and Microsoft, are investing heavily in the creation of personal assistant services. You most likely have a gadget at home that has a personal assistant built in or that supports his services. His duty is basically to understand his owner’s routines, wants, and preferences. These assistants can connect all of your smart gadgets and appliances together to create a completely smart home. In addition to control blinds, lights, and doors, among other things. They have the ability to play music, transmit messages, and even call your friends. For many of you, this is how the future will look like. For some of you, that is already a reality.
Genetic engineering:
The science of genetic engineering has seen a significant transformation in recent years. For example, (CRISPR-CAS9 – gene edition tool) enables the repair of the finest “building blocks” of the human body and, with its assistance, reportedly cures previously incurable illnesses. This implies that, as a result of advances in medical technology, more effective and better techniques of fighting various diseases are progressively appearing. The human body will likely require major changes in the future, perhaps leading to the birth of genetically changed and modified individuals, or superhuman with super powers and abilities.
Autonomous vehicles:
The idea of autonomous vehicles wading through city streets and highways is gradually becoming a reality. In bigger cities, and even on some highways, we may see a variety of cars, carts, or other forms of transportation without a driver, many of which are currently under development and engineering inspection. Autonomous driving has been a dream since the introduction of the first automobile. This is something we’re getting closer to. Thus, autonomous mobility includes increased transportation safety, increased service availability, and the effective use of time spent behind the wheel of a vehicle.
With all those robots, how do you believe the world will change in the future? Is it more convenient, or does it make us lazier?

These advancements are inevitable and positive overall- improved medical care curing disease, security, safe driving etc, … so on larger scale, countries and businesses must embrace it or fall behind. On an individual level, that is arguably true, but some of these technologies are adopted by people because it’s there, but doesn’t always improve life. I like Alexa only for music but will never depend on Alexa or PA’s to think for me or do everyday tasks (Hey Alexa, turn on my razor, or recommend a good movie for me). So yes, it makes us lazier, and less resourceful for sure. It can also promote isolation and cause job loss, at big companies who can afford to pay people who need the job, delivery by drones- hope not- or service jobs by robots etc. and less human contact. But this view is probably more common for older generations -boomers, gen-x’ers. On the positive side, you can use the extra free time to become more active in other ways.
